Original Craftsmanship Demonstrations, will be held at Grant Park. Live historical exhibits will include Pottery, Spinning, Wood Carving, Clay Molded Animals, Blacksmith, Broom Making, Buck Skinner, Neckerchief Slide Carving.
Trading post - Turner Hall will be the site of the 2007 Official Trading Post. This is where you will be able to purchase the 2007 mugs, patches, hatpins, caps and neckerchiefs.This will also be the location to turn in your trail hike sheet and purchase your trail medals.

The State of Illinois has changed its group camping policy. Please contact the state park of your choice to make advanced reservations. (NO WALK-INS ACCEPTED)

Numerous complaints in previous years have promoted the Galena Area Chamber of Commerce to work towards restricting the sale of hazardous toys in Galena. The sponsor's for this year's Pilgrimage strongly urge all adult leaders to do their part also. Please discourage your Scouts from bringing, buying, or possessing any hazardous or annoying articles such as snappers, slingshots, whips, pea shooters, squirt guns, etc.

Let's be mindful of our regulations regarding youth protection and leadership requirements:
1) Every unit must file and bring with the unit a tour permit (it Will be checked)
2) 2-Deep leadership
3) Individual medical history with parent approval in case of emergency
4) Leadership by example: Adults and senior youth are reminded that we have an obligation to be that positive role model
5) Every participant must register with the Pilgrimage; Pilgrimage registration will be checked through the Trading Post

Unit Recognition Awards
- Unit coming the farthest away
- Unit with the largest contingent of Boy Scouts
- Unit with the largest contingent of Cub Scouts
- Unit must be registered by April 15, 2007. These awards will be presented at ....registration when those units sign-in.
Museum Tours Free w/ Wristband
Every registered person will receive a wristband for the various places of interest. You as a leader must make sure your Scouts receive and wear this wristband. If your Scouts do not wear the wristband, they will have to pay full price instead of the free admittance! As you register be sure and instruct your Scouts put on the wristband right away. No exceptions will be made for admission prices. This includes adults! All adults and Youth MUST register.

We are working on a form to put on the web for troops to do their own swim check. If a troop is unable to get swim checks done we will do swim checks at the Ramada Inn, but it will cost $2.50
